About Me​

 

I have been qualified as a social worker for 25 years and a systemic family psychotherapist for 20 years, working mainly with children and families and specialising in child mental health  I have also worked in CAMHS and child development with families, professionals and foster carers and specialised in working with children who have been sexually abused as well as  groups for survivors of domestic abuse.  

 

In the past I have worked with adults with mental health needs, adults with learning difficulties,  refugees and asylum seekers. 

 

I completed my Supervisors qualification in Systemic Practice and am happy to offer systemic consultation to individual practitioners and staff groups.

 

I have lectured for the Institute of Family Therapy and Institute of Psychiatry on systemic practice for social workers and managers

I have also completed my Mindfulness and EMDR Training and am happy to incorporate this into my work with you.
